R11Audio operates the R11 Compatibility Driver project. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected through R11Audio.com and how that information is used.
Information we collect
When you register for the R11 Public Beta, we collect the information you submit through the registration form.
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- macOS version
- Mac model, if provided
- Audio application or DAW, if provided
- Audio application version, if provided
- Your preference regarding R11 update emails
The public beta is currently intended for Apple Silicon systems. The system architecture associated with the beta release may also be recorded with your registration.
How we use information
Information collected through the beta registration process may be used to:
- Administer the R11 Public Beta
- Understand hardware and software compatibility
- Identify and investigate compatibility issues
- Improve R11
- Provide release, support, compatibility, or security information
- Send general R11 development or release updates when you have chosen to receive them
Email communications
General development and release emails are optional. The update checkbox on the registration form is not selected by default.
R11Audio may still contact registered beta participants when reasonably necessary to administer the beta or communicate important compatibility, security, or release information.
Sale or sharing of personal information
R11Audio does not sell personal information.
Information may be processed or stored by service providers used to operate the website and beta program. Cloudflare provides website infrastructure, security, database, and related services used by R11Audio.com.
Data retention
Beta registration information may be retained while it is reasonably useful for compatibility analysis, beta administration, support, and development of the R11 project.
You may request deletion or correction of information associated with your registration.
Security
R11Audio uses reasonable technical measures intended to protect registration information. No Internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.
Information we do not intentionally request
The beta registration form does not request device serial numbers, hardware UUIDs, passwords, financial information, or other similarly sensitive device identifiers.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as the R11 project develops. The current version will be posted at R11Audio.com/privacy.
